Since the church first opened its doors back in the 1950’s it has honored Christs great commission to spread the good news of the gift of salvation and eternal life.
We have had the privilege of sponsoring many different missionaries all over the world through the years.
The ministries we are currently supporting are Unknown Nations, Hope 61 and Samaritans Purse.
Unknown Nations main focus is the distribution of solar powered audio bibles in various languages and dialects where native people largely do not utilize written language and have no electricity. Our representatives in this ministry are Jerry and Debbie Smith. They have evolved to become trainers to develop new pastors and teachers in these countries. The solar powered audio bibles are called “Treasures” and are often the only in home contact with the scriptures. We support this ministry with a monthly gift and the congregation and guests are able to give additional gifts through the church offering plates by specifying “Unknown Nations Treasures” on your check or offering envelope. Information on this ministry can be obtained at www.unknownations.com. The approximate cost of the Treasures is $50 dollars each.
Our church also supports “Hope 61” through One Mission Society (OMS) which concentrates its efforts to help eliminate human trafficking. More information can be obtained at www.onemissionsociety.org and gift can also be directed to them through our offering plates.
We also give funds to Samaritans Purse headed by Franklin Graham. They have an ongoing worldwide ministry but are especially effective in instances of all kinds of disasters whether natural or as a result of war or conflict.
